Virginia Union University's Aisha Berkley and Kristal Woodard had 12 kills apiece, but the University of the District of Columbia stopped the Lady Panthers 25-21, 25-23, 25-13 on September 29 in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Demi Shrader recorded 25 assists and had seven defensive digs in the match.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-13 on the season while UDC is now 7-10.

Virginia Union now faces Claflin University on Sunday, October 2, at 12:00 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall.
