Virginia Union University's Aisha Berkley had 11 defensive digs, but Elizabeth City State stopped in volleyball VUU 25-23, 25-11, 25-17 on September 26 in Elizabeth City, N.C.

The loss snapped a three-match winning streak.  It was the longest VUU volleyball winning streak of the year.

VUU's Reneisha Chiles had nine kills while Demi Schrader had 25 assists.  Virginia Union's Ellie Parsons also had six service aces in the match.

VUU now returns to Barco-Stevens Hall to for the Lady Panthers' home opener on September 29 against the University of the District of Columbia.  The match begins at 6:00 p.m.
