Virginia Union University's Aisha Berkley had 25 kills while Ellie Parsons had 23 digs as the Lady Panthers downed Virginia State University 25-21, 25-27, 25-20, 14-25, 15-10 in the 2011 volleyball season finale on October 26 in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU saluted the two seniors on the team, Berkley and Brittanee Adams, before the match began.

Berkley had 20 defensive digs while Adams had 12 digs.

VUU's Demi Schrader had 43 assists and 16 digs while Kristal Woodard had 19 digs.

The raised VUU's record to 9-20 on the year and 8-8 in CIAA play.  VSU fell to 10-17 overall and 8-8 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Millersville, Pa., to face Millersville University on October 29.
