Virginia Union University's Demi Schrader garnered 16 assists, but Chowan University defeated VUU 25-19, 25-16, 25-18 on October 24 in Murfreesboro, N.C.

Schrader also had a team-high eight defensive digs to go with her assists.

VUU's Aisha Berkley led the Lady Panthers with nine kills while Kristal Woodard and Ellie Parsons had six digs apiece.

The loss drops VUU to 8-20 overall on the season and 7-8 in CIAA play.  Chowan raised it's record to 22-6 overall and a perfect 15-0 in the CIAA.

VUU wraps up the home volleyball season when they face Virginia State University on Wednesday, October 26, at 6 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
