Virginia Union University's Kristin Madison was named to the Mount Olive Volleyball Classic All-Tournament team for her performance for the Lady Panthers over the weekend of October 21-22 in Mount Olive, N.C.

Madison had six kills in VUU's 25-12, 25-14, 25-12 loss to Belmont-Abbey College on October 21, then followed with a team-high eight kills in Virginia Union's 23-25, 25-11, 25-19, 25-8 loss to host Mount Olive College on October 22.

In VUU's 25-17, 25-14, 25-27, 25-18 win over Shaw University, Madison had 12 kills, second only to senior Aisha Berkley's 16 kills.  

VUU's Kristal Woodard had 11 kills while Ellie Parsons had 12 defensive digs in the match.

VUU is now 8-19 and will face Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C., on Monday, October 24.
