Virginia Union University's Lashira Williams had 10 kills, but Chowan University stopped the Lady Panthers 25-12, 25-6, 25-19 on October 7 in Murfreesboro, N.C.

Williams' 10 kills came on 24 total attacks.  

VUU's Jessica Thompson had eight defensive digs while setter Brittanee Adams had 16 assists.

The loss dropped VUU to 6-13 while Chowan raised it's record to 13-8.
