Virginia Union University's Aisha Berkley had 10 kills while Jessica Thompson had 10 defensive digs to lead VUU to a 25-16, 25-14, 25-18 sweep of Bowie State University on October 5 in Barco-Stevens Hall.

VUU's' Brittanee Adams had 17 assists, six service aces and eight digs in the win.

The win raised the Lady Panthers' record to 6-12 on the season while BSU dropped to 3-16.
