Danielle Perry was named the head coach of the Virginia Union University Panthers in 2024. She was raised in Prince George, Virginia, where she currently works as an elementary school teacher. Coach Perry was recruited via West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she played a dual role as a pin hitter and defensive specialist. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Education.
After college, Danielle Perry returned to her community in Prince George's County, where she spent five years coaching middle school and high school athletes. Her coaching philosophy, rooted in the belief that every player has the potential to excel, guided her as she also coached various upper-level travel teams at XZone Volleyball Club in Chesterfield for over four years.
