Coach Jonathan Amaral. A native of Rhode Island who moved to Virginia in 2012, Amaral is entering his 7th year as a club coach in the Hampton Roads area. Previous years he was the head Varsiry coach for Denbigh Boys volleyball from 2017-2020 leading them to the state tournament and winning the first Region title in program history . He was also the York Varsity head coach at York High School 2020-2023 where he lead the Falcons to the state tournament twice and also winning the First State Championship in program history.

Playing Accolades:
  • Middle/RS at Bluefield College before a shoulder injury sidelined college career
  • He was selected for 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region and 2nd Team All-State at Denbigh High School.
  • Still Holds school record most kills in a season (387)
