Prep:  Graduated from Ardrey Kell High School in 2008…3 year varsity letterwinner…earned 1st Team All-Conference honors (SW4A) during his senior season…1st player from Ardrey Kell High School to ever be selected to play in the East vs. West All Star Game…team captain during his senior year

Personal:  Son of Davvie and Regina Mims…comes from an athletic family, his older brother David is also a member of the VUU Football Team and his father played basketball at Morris Brown College…birthday is June 28…majoring in Business Administration…currently undecided about his plans after graduation
