RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia Union University women's basketball team earned a decisive 86–49 victory over Lincoln University (PA) on Wednesday night at Barco-Stevens Hall. With the win, the Lady Panthers improved to 14-7 overall and 8-5 in CIAA play.
Virginia Union established control early and maintained momentum throughout the contest, outscoring the Lions in each quarter. The Panthers' defensive pressure and balanced offensive attack proved to be the difference, as VUU capitalized on scoring opportunities and controlled the glass.
