Lady Panthers Fall to Bowie State 61-48

Virginia Union University Women's Basketball dropped a CIAA Northern Division contest to Bowie State University, 61–48, on Saturday afternoon at Barco-Stevens Hall.

Despite a competitive effort, the Lady Panthers were unable to contain Bowie State down the stretch. Bruni Martinez led VUU with 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting, while Maya Robinson added 13 points on 6-of-8 shootingKarimah Nix contributed six points, rounding out the Lady Panthers' top scorers. Serenity Johnson finished with three points and a team-high six assists, providing key contributions on both ends of the floor.
