RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia Union University senior running back
Curtis Allen has been named to the BoxToRow.com All-American Team, capping a historic 2025 season that firmly established him as one of the premier players in college football.
Allen delivered one of the most dominant individual seasons in NCAA Division II, finishing the year with
2,386 rushing yards on 297 carries, averaging
198.8 yards per game and
8.0 yards per carry. He also scored
30 rushing touchdowns and accounted for
180 total points, leading all NCAA divisions in multiple statistical categories.

Throughout the season, Allen was a constant force for the Panthers' offense, recording a 100-yard rushing performance in every game and surpassing the 200-yard mark multiple times. His signature performance came against Bluefield State, where he rushed for
369 yards and five touchdowns, setting a VUU single-game rushing record.
Allen's All-America honor adds to an already decorated 2025 campaign that included national, conference, and HBCU recognition. His production and leadership played a central role in Virginia Union's success and further elevated the profile of CIAA and HBCU football on the national stage.
