As a team, Virginia Union hit .240 for the match, collecting 38 kills and seven service aces. The Lady Panthers held Lincoln to a .000 attack percentage while forcing 21 attack errors.

"The girls showed excellent teamwork tonight and really enjoyed themselves out on the court," said VUU Head Volleyball Coach Anetra Sims.  "With a couple of practices left before the Round-Up competition, we're focused on keeping momentum. If they continue to bring the same grit, unity, and determination they've shown over the last four matches, we'll be in a strong position."

VUU will now travel to Bowie, Md., to compete in the CIAA Volleyball Roundup.  The Lady Panthers will face Johnson C. Smith University and Winston-Salem State University on Saturday, October 18, and will then face Claflin University on Sunday, October 19.
