Coach's Comments:
Head Coach
Jay Butler praised his team's performance, stating,
"I was very proud of the way we bounced back and got a big road win against a solid Bowie State team. I thought we played great in the first half defensively, holding Bowie to 14 points. DJ Mitchell did a great job scoring and making free throws down the stretch. We continue to fight through injuries, and it was a total team effort tonight to get this win. Hopefully, we can get a little more healthy for Saturday's game against Bluefield State."
