Virginia Union University's
Rori Cox scored a career-high 24 points to propel the Lady Panthers to a 70-53 win over Winston-Salem State University on Thursday, December 12, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Cox also had a game-high eight rebounds as the Lady Panthers improved to 7-3 this season.
Virginia Union's
Nevaeh Reaves added 12 points as VUU held Winston-Salem State to just 23 points in the second half.

Rori Cox played spectacular and finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
Nevaeh Reaves also had an impressive game with 12 points and 3 rebounds.
Tatiana Jones' 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists were a major contributor to our win as well. We regrouped after halftime and fought hard to win together."
Virginia Union now returns to Barco-Stevens Hall to face Virginia University of Lynchburg at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 14.
