Tierra Terry. "The most impressive stat of the night was our 23 assists as a team. We keep emphasizing team basketball and that stat is a true example of playing as a team.
Nevaeh Reaves showed up big with 4 three-pointers and 19 points,
Rori Cox had a 20-point game,
Tatiana Jones went 4-for-5 from the field, Taniyah Green had a solid 12 points and 9 rebounds, and
Bruni Martinez snatched 8 rebounds. It was a great all-around effort. Now it is time to focus on our next opponent and take these things with us to the next game."
Virginia Union will now travel to Emory, Va., to face Emory & Henry College at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, November 16.
