"Of course, I am not happy about losing but I am proud of these young ladies for fighting until the end," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach
Tierra Terry. "We gave them 23 points on the free throw line, and that was part of the difference in the game. I am not disappointed in the effort today, just the outcome."
Virginia Union will now travel to Fayetteville, N.C., to face the Broncos of Fayetteville State University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 11.
