Ny Langley scored a game-high 21 points as the Lady Panthers raised their record to 3-0 by downing the University of Mount Olive 52-49 on Saturday, November 18, in Mount Olive, N.C.

Bruni Martinez had a team-high 12 rebounds and nine points in the win.
"We were faced with a ton of adversity before and during our game today versus Mount Olive," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach
Tierra Terry. "They were a well-coached team and it took a lot of discipline and perseverance on our part to get the victory today.
Bruni Martinez was very impressive with nine points, 12 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.
Ny Langley came alive late. and when we needed her the most, finishing with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Brittini Martin did some intangible things that do not show up on stat sheet, but she was a major player today. We are very proud of our ladies for overcoming and fighting today."
Virginia Union now travels to Newport News, Va., to play the Newport News Apprentice School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21.
