Virginia Union University's Robert Osborne scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as #14 VUU downed Salem University 75-64 on Saturday, December 10, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Keleaf Tate and Raemaad Wright each scored 14 points in the game while teammate Devon Sims added 11 points as the Panthers raised their record to 8-1.

"It's always good to get a quality win during finals week," said VUU Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Butler.  "I thought we came out with a lot of energy on both ends of the court.  I was really impressed with our seniors today . They know what it's like to play during finals week and I challenged them to be leaders today.  Robbie and Raemaad continue to do a great job in the paint scoring and rebounding."

VUU will now face Shepherd University at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
