Virginia Union University's Will Jenkins recorded his 12th double-double of the season by scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds as VUU defeated Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 85-64 on Saturday, February 16, in Lincoln University, Pa.

VUU's Terrell Leach led the Panthers in scoring with 28 points while Eric Bowles added 15 points.

"It was a good road win for us," VUU Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Butler said.  "We were able to bounce back and get that win after a tough loss against Bowie State.  I thought that defensively we came out and played strong.  A lot of guys stepped up, came off the bench and played extremely well for us today."

Bowles also dished out a season-high eight assists to go with his scoring.

The win raised VUU's record to 16-10 overall and 11-4 in CIAA play.  Lincoln fell to 13-13 overall and 6-9 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now wraps up the 2018-19 home season when it faces Elizabeth City State University at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
