Shareka McNeill scored 44 points while her sister
Shameka McNeill added 20 points as the Lady Panthers defeated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 92-64 on Saturday, November 9, in Daytona Beach, Fla., in the season-opener for both teams.
Shareka McNeill scored 31 points in the first half, including a mid-court buzzer-beater at the end of the second quarter. She hit 15 of 32 shots, including seven three-pointers.
Shameka McNeill connected on eight of 15 shots, including three 3-pointers.
Newcomer
Dy'Manee Royal recorded a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Shameka McNeill played well, scoring 20 points, five assists and six steals. The inside duo of
Jasmine Carter and
Dy'Manee Royal combined for 26 points and 22 rebounds. We forced 25 turnovers and scored 92 points. We will need this type of tough effort when we go up to California, Pa., on Wednesday."
