Carter had 10 rebounds and 17 points while Royal had 12 rebounds and 14 points.

VUU's Shareka McNeill led the Lady Panthers with 27 points.  McNeill is now averaging 40.0 points per game this season and has 1,352 career points.

"We are so very proud of how our team fought today, we trailed early but came back," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach AnnMarie Gilbert.  "When our backs were up against the wall, we stepped up, handled adversity, and finished the job in Lady Panther fashion.  Our shots didn't fall but we kept attacking.  We were led by Shareka McNeill with 27 points, five rebounds and Jasmine Carter with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Dy'Manee Royal hit four clutch free throws at the end of the game to go along with 14 overall points and 12 rebounds."
