Taurie Magee both had nine kills apiece as the Lady Panthers downed Bowie State University 25-7, 25-19, 25-12 on Monday, October 1, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
Starling, a freshman from Dallas, Tex., and Magee, a freshman from Pasadena, Cal., led all players in kills.

Jamaica Adams had 11 defensive digs.
The win raised VUU's record to 6-12 overall and 5-4 in the CIAA. Bowie State fell to 1-10 overall and 0-10 in CIAA play.
Virginia Union returns to action when they meet Virginia State University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
