Box Score Virginia Union University's Eric Shaw gained 97 yards while teammate Damon Kelly rushed for three touchdowns to lead VUU to a 32-25 win over Livingstone College in football on Saturday, October 5, in Sailsbury, N.C.

The win marked the first VUU win of the season.

Kelly had 95 yards on 14 carries.  

VUU's Charles Davis III led the defense with 12 tackles while Tyrell Austin and London Byrd had 10 take-downs apiece.

As a team, Virginia Union racked up 291 rushing yards.

VUU is now 1-4 on the season and 1-1 in the CIAA.  Livingstone is now 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the CIAA.

Union now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln (Pa.) University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.  The game will mark Union's first football appearance in Lincoln University, Pa., since 1948.
