Box Score Virginia Union University's Jerrell Washington rushed for a touchdown while Kenneth Graham passed for two more, but Livingstone out-lasted VUU 23-21 in Historic Hovey Field in Richmond, Va., on Saturday, September 29.

Washington rushed for 61 yards on 18 carries while teammate Richard Rodwell rushed for 54 yards on nine carries.

Graham connected on 11 of 21 passes for 160 yards while Abe Coleman hit 7-of-11 for 79 yards.

VUU's Mantez Holmes caught four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.  Freshman Denzel Duchenne caught six balls for 68 yards and another touchdown.

The loss drops VUU to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in CIAA play.  Livingstone is now 2-3 and 2-0 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now hosts Lincoln University for the Panthers' Homecoming on Saturday, October 6, in Historic Hovey Field in Richmond, Va.
