Box Score Virginia Union University's Jerrell Washington rushed for 266 yards, breaking Judge Thomas' school record of 260 yards, as VUU downed Lincoln University 61-13 in The VUU Homecoming Football Game on Saturday, October 6, in Historic Hovey Field in Richmond, Va.

Washington's 266 yards came on 28 carries and included two touchdowns.

Thomas rushed for 260 yards against Saint Paul's College in 1976.

VUU's Kenneth Graham hit on 11 of 22 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns.

VUU's Andre Kates had three interceptions, one shy of the school record of four, set by Tommy Dawson in 1999.

Virginia Union University's Stephen Velasquez also hit two field goals and was 7-of-8 on extra points.

The win evened VUU's record to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in CIAA play.  Lincoln fell to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the CIAA.
