Virginia Union University's Joseph Jean-Pierre has been named the CIAA Receiver of the Week for his performance against Fayetteville State University on November 6.

Jean-Pierre became only the third Virginia Union University football player to earn more than 200 yards in receptions when he caught seven passes for 215 yards and a touchdown against Fayetteville State. Jean-Pierre also became the first VUU Panther to collect more than 1,000 yards in reception yardage since Rodney Hounshell in 1991. Jean-Pierre finished the 2010 season with 1,019 receiving yards.
