Virginia Union University Hall of Famer Terry Davis has joined the men's basketball coaching staff of head coach Willard Coker on a full-time basis.

Davis, who was the 1988 CIAA Player of the Year, played 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association with the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards and the Denver Nuggets.

Davis scored 1,875 points and pulled down 1,183 rebounds in his career at VUU, which spanned from 1985 to 1989.
