Brady Wood, a Virginia Union University incoming freshman and a National Letter of Intent Signee wins The 2023 U19 Provincial Championship. Wood's is a member of Fredericton Golf Club. He finished with a final 54-hole score of 218 (-1). The Championship was hosted and presented by Jardine Auctioneers Inc. at Club de Golf Fraser Edmundston Golf Club. The course played 6700 yards and was a par 73. Brady shot 73 75 70 to finish for the three-day tournament. Brady won by 2 strokes but was tied going into 18. Brady birdied 18 and his competitor bogeyed it. Brady had 7 birdies in his final round. Brady will compete with The Team New Brunswick at the Canadian Championships in Ontario, Canada.
