Dr. Sharonda Ragland has over 29 years in the education sector. Ragland currently serves as Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences at Virginia Union University. She has served as Acting Dean, Chair of Mass Communications, and Chair of Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences at VUU.
Ragland earned a PhD in Education with a concentration in Higher Education and a Master of Educational Specialist degree with a concentration in Higher Education from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is also a graduate of Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia where she earned a Master of Science degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in accounting.
