Virginia Union University Athletics

Tyree Nobles Jr is entering his first season on the Virginia Union University defensive staff as the Secondary/Safeties Coach. Nobles come from Syracuse University where he served as a Defensive Quality Control Coach assisting with Secondary for two seasons.

Prior to Syracuse, Nobles spent two seasons with the University of Georgia Bulldogs as a Defensive Quality Control Coach from 2022-23 and was a part of the back-to-back National Championship in 2022.

In the summer of 2023, Nobles participated in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship with the Jacksonville Jaguars for training camp and preseason working with the Outside Linebackers.

Before joining the Bulldogs, Nobles spent one season at Rutgers University, both as a Player Development Assistant and Wide Receiver Graduate Assistant during his time in New Brunswick.

As a player, Nobles transferred to Widener University after completing his associate degree in business studies at Lackawanna Junior College, where he played defensive back.

Nobles hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting.
