DaQuila Washington joined the Virginia Union University Athletic Training staff as an assistant athletic trainer in July, 2021.
Washington joined the staff after serving as an intern athletic trainer 2017-2018 at Alabama State University. While there she worked primarily with the football, men’s and women’s basketball programs, and with the baseball program. She later returned to her alma mater Averett University as a graduate assistant in 2018 before transitioning to a full time member of the staff in 2019. While at Averett University, Washington worked primarily with the women’s soccer, men’s wrestling, and women’s lacrosse programs.
Washington graduated in May 2017 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Averett along with a masters degree in business administration in December 2020.
