Originally from Ohio, Coach Sims is a proud United States veteran who played volleyball for the U.S. Army, gaining high-level competitive experience while serving her country.
Coach Sims combines her athletic background with a deep commitment to discipline, teamwork, and personal development. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, mental toughness, and preparing student-athletes for success both on and off the court.
In addition to her coaching career, Coach Sims is a retired Ohio State Trooper with over 27 years of distinguished service. Her extensive law enforcement career shaped her leadership style, instilling values of integrity, resilience, and respect that carry over into her coaching approach.
Coach Sims is passionate about mentoring student-athletes, fostering a positive team culture, and helping players reach their full potential academically, athletically, and personally.
