Quinn Brown is an accomplished collegiate football coach with more than 13 years of coaching experience and a proven track record of developing offensive linemen. Currently serving as Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach at Virginia Union University, Brown has established a reputation for building highly productive rushing attacks, developing elite offensive linemen, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field.
In his first season back at Virginia Union as Offensive Coordinator in 2025, Brown helped guide the Panthers to a 9-3 overall record, a CIAA Championship Game appearance, and a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs. His offensive line unit featured three All-CIAA selections, while five different linemen earned CIAA Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. The group played a pivotal role in the success of Harlon Hill Award winner Curtis Allen and established itself as one of the conference's premier units.
Prior to his promotion to Offensive Coordinator, Brown served as Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator at Bowie State University. Under his leadership, Bowie State engineered one of the nation's most dramatic improvements in rushing offense, climbing from 132nd nationally to 29th while significantly reducing sacks allowed and improving overall offensive efficiency.
Brown first joined Virginia Union in 2023 as Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, helping lead the Panthers to a CIAA Championship, an NCAA Division II Playoff appearance, and a No. 20 final ranking in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll. His offensive line produced the CIAA Offensive Lineman of the Year, an HBCU All-American, and three All-Conference performers while helping the offense rank among the nation's leaders in rushing production and red-zone efficiency.
From 2019 to 2023, Brown served as Assistant Head Coach, Run Game Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach at Henderson State University. During his tenure, the Reddies earned national rankings in both 2019 and 2021 and consistently ranked among NCAA Division II leaders in total offense. His offensive line units produced six All-Conference honorees and helped establish a physical, balanced offensive identity.
Before Henderson State, Brown spent two seasons at William Jewell College as Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. He also gained valuable experience as Assistant Offensive Line Coach at the University of Northern Colorado and as an Offensive Line Graduate Assistant at the University of Wyoming.
Brown began his coaching career at William Jewell College in 2012, serving as Tight Ends Coach and Assistant Special Teams Coordinator.
A native of Missouri, Brown played collegiately at the University of Missouri, where he began his career as a quarterback before transitioning to offensive line. His diverse playing background has contributed to his comprehensive understanding of offensive football and player development.
Brown earned a Bachelor of General Studies with concentrations in History, Education, and Business from the University of Missouri in 2011. He later received a Master of Educational Administration in Adult and Post-Secondary Education from the University of Wyoming in 2017.
