Entering his first season as the Specialists Coach and Social Media Coordinator at Virginia Union, Coach Brady Myers is responsible for developing the Panthers’ kickers, punters, and long snappers while creating and managing digital content through graphic design, photography, videography, and social media.
Myers joins the Panthers coaching staff after four strong seasons as Virginia Union’s starting kicker (‘22–‘25). A May 2026 magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Union with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, Myers will begin his Master of Business Administration this school year, with plans to graduate in May 2027.
During his playing career, Myers established himself as one of the most accomplished athletes in Virginia Union history. He finished as the program’s all-time leading kick scorer (313 points) and was a two-time “CIAA Conference Champion”. His individual accolades include three “CIAA Special Teams Player of the Year” honors, four “First Team All-CIAA” selections, and two “CFB Network HBCU All-American honors”, among numerous others.
As a coach, Myers looks to use his experience as a successful collegiate specialist to help his position group develop not only technically, but mentally as well, emphasizing consistency, confidence, preparation, and attention to detail.
Myers credits his knowledge of the specialist position and his interest in coaching to his kicking coaches, Mark Lewis, the Arena Football League’s all-time leading kick scorer, and Anthony Prevost, a former Virginia Union specialist coach. Their influence played a major role in his development as a specialist and helped inspire his transition from player to coach.
Alongside his coaching responsibilities, Myers brings over five years of experience in graphic design and digital media to his role as Social Media Coordinator. He is the owner and creative behind “Brady Myers Edits”, a personal brand he has built since his time as a high school student. Through his business and work with Virginia Union Athletics, Myers has developed extensive experience creating graphics, photographing and filming sporting events, and producing social media content. His work has allowed him to combine his passion for sports and creativity while helping athletes and programs build their brand and tell their stories through visual media.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Myers is a graduate of William R. Boone High School. He is the son of Angela Santomassino and Gregory Myers and the brother of Delaney Myers.
