Bernard Rucker has been with the Virginia Union University Athletic staff since 1970. He works as an assistant to the Head Athletic Trainers. He held coaching positions as Head Bowling Coach and Assistant Softball Coach before becoming Head Softball Coach. Rucker has attended several pro camps as well as different sports clinics to help keep his skills in compliance with helping student-athletes keep in shape. rucker also has worked under many good coaches and now currently holds the position as VUU Football Team Equipment Manager and will continue to help keep the Panther program a success.
