Biography

Enters the 2008 season as the starting left tackle…adds great size to the offensive line…has dramatically improved over the course of his collegiate career…very physical…has a chance to be one of the most dominating left tackles in the CIAA this season…should compete for All-CIAA honors

Prep:  Graduated from South Mecklenberg High School in 2006…3 year varsity letterwinner…earned All-Southwest 4A honors as a senior…earned All-Charlotte honors as a senior. 

Personal:  Son of Davvie and Regina Mims…comes from an athletic family, his younger brother Darrin is also a member of the VUU Football Team and his father played basketball at Morris Brown College…birthday is May 18…majoring in Business Management…currently undecided about his plans after graduation.
