The Virginia Union University Golf Team competed in the 2026 University of Charleston Men's Invitational Golf Tournament September 9th & 10th, 2026. The 54-holes tournament was contested at The Berry Hills Country Club in Charleston, West Virginia. Berry Hills is home to a true shot makers course, with a rolling layout and tree lined fairways always in pristine

condition.  It is a Par 70 6,345 yard that proved to be challenge to all of the golfers.

There were twenty teams competing in the Men's Invitational Tournament. This was our Fall Kick-off Golf Tournament, which included other Regional Teams. VUU finished thirteenth and team scoring was led by Sophomore Juan Solano  with a score of 218 (70/72/76), followed by Senior  Joseph Boone with a score of 222 (75/72/75),  followed by Sophomore Samuel Kozisek with a score of 228 (76/79/73), followed by Senior Brady Wood with a score of 231 (78/75/78) and followed by 1st Year Grad Student Aidan Robertson with a score of 234 (78/79/77), followed by Antonio Gacia playing as an individual finished T121 with a score of 263 (94/86/83).

"This was our first Fall Kickoff Tournament; we got off to a good start and look forward to the team's continuous improvement, " said VUU Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble. "With the help of Assistant Coach Sean Bowers, the team will continue to improve. We are immensely proud of the way the guys persevered to the end. We continue to be immensely proud of the accomplishments of our VUU Golf Team on and off the golf course".
