Virginia Union University Golf team competed in the 2025 CIAA Southern Division Golf Tournament on March 3rd & 4th, 2025. The tournament was contested at the Holly Ridge Golf Links in Archdale, North Carolina. Holly Ridge Golf Link is a par 72 18-hole Championship Golf Course with strong "links" style setup. 

There were twelve teams competing in The 2025 Southern Division Golf Tournament. VUU Team scoring was led by Sophomore Joseph Boone who finished T3 with a score of 218 (74/73/71) and a member of the All-Tournament Team, followed by 1st Year Grad Student Joseph Graham finished 26th with a score of 228 (81/70/77), followed by Zaccheus Spann 2nd Year Grad Student finished 31st, with a score of 229 (77/78/74) followed by Sophomore Benjamin Nicholson finished 32nd with a score of 230 (73/79/78), followed by Brady Wood, Sophomore, so also finished 32nd with a score of 230 (80/73/77).

"This was a competitive CIAA Conference field and the VVU Golf Team responded well," said VUU Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble. "With the help of Assistant Coach Sean Bowers, the team responded and played very well in each competitive round. Our goal continues to be to break 300 and they responded with a team score of 897 (304/294/299). We are immensely proud of the way the guys persevered to the end. We continue to be immensely proud of the accomplishments of our VUU Golf Team on and off the golf course". We head to Cleveland, Mississippi Saturday, March 8th to compete in the 2025 Darrell Foreman Invitational Golf Tournament.
