"ECSU is always a hostile environment, and you have to execute at a high level to come out on top here," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach
Tierra Terry. "We showed a lot of heart, fight, and effort but we had to win the execution game. A bad first quarter affected us and we had too many crucial turnovers late in the game. We had some good individual performances but the whole team has to play well to win. We have some things to clean up before Saturday."
Virginia Union will wrap up the 2023-24 regular season when it meets Virginia State University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, in Petersburg, Va.
