Virginia Union University recorded the first back-to-back shutouts since 2011 as the Panthers downed Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 62-0 on Saturday, October 12, in Lincoln University, Pa.

The shutout, coupled with last week's 44-0 win over Livingstone College, marked the first time VUU had held opponents scoreless in two straight games since the Panthers shut out Saint Augustine's University 12-0 and then Benedict College 27-0 in the first two games of the 2011 season.

"It was a great road win by our ball club, I thought we played well in all three phases of the game," said VUU Head Football Coach Dr.
