GREEN BAY, Wisc. - Former Virginia Union University running back William Stanback has signed a three-year contract with the Green Bay Packers.

Georgia-based Priority Training made the announcement in a tweet posted on Monday, May 8.

Stanback also tweeted a photo of himself signing the contract wearing a grey Packers long-sleeved t-shirt.

Stanback rushed for 1,299 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Panthers in 2016.  He was named to the All-CIAA First Team for his performance last season.
