Box Score Virginia Union University's Terrence Malone rushed for 102 yards, but Johnson C. Smith University topped VUU 26-19 in Charlotte, N.C., on October 15.

Malone collected 102 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.

VUU's Paul Jones boomed a 67-yard punt in the game, the eighth longest punt in Virgininia Union University football history.  Jones set a school record by recording a 72-yard punt last week.

VUU is now 4-4 overall, and 2-3 in CIAA Play.  Johnson C. Smith is 4-3 overall and 3-1 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now has a week off, and faces Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va., on October 29.
