Durham, NC – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association named Felicia Johnson as Senior Woman Administrator of the Year Tuesday afternoon at the annual conference spring meeting inside the Durham Marriott.
Felicia Johnson has returned to her alma mater to serve as the athletic department's Director of Compliance. She joined the staff in July 2007. Since then, she has been awarded additional responsibilities as the Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator.
The Mappsville, VA native is a 2003 honor graduate of Virginia Union University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems. During her undergraduate tenure at VUU, Johnson lettered in volleyball, softball and bowling. Johnson also received her Masters of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in Recreation, Parks & Sports leadership.
