Virginia Union University Golf team competed in the 2026 Hampton Farms Intercollegiate  Tournament on April 6th & 7th, 2026. The tournament was contested at the Beechwood Country Club in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Beechwood was designed by Julian Brown, Edward T. Carson, and Dr. J.B. Ruffin in 1948 and has become a premiere and challenging Golf Course in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Beechwood is a Par 72 6,260 yard layout which proved to be a challenge for all of the golfers with small and fast greens. Virginia Union University Golf team competed in the 2026 Battle At Brunswick on March 12th through March 14th, 2026. The tournament was contested at the Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort in Calabash, North Carolina. Brunswick Plantation Golf Course consisted of three-nine hole courses. The 3rd E. Lee Coble Tournament was held on Monday, October 27th, 2025. The tournament format consisted of a four-person scramble. The tournament was contested at Lakeside Park Club (aka Jefferson Lakeside Country Club) .  Lakeside Park Club Golf Course was designed by world-renowned architect Donald Ross. Don't be fooled by the length at just 6200 yards, Par 71. LPC is one of the toughest "short" courses you will ever play. A tree-lined course that presented a significant challenge for all the golfers. This tournament was a 36-hole Individual stroke play tournament.
