Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 22 points, but Alderson-Broaddus University defeated the Panthers 66-65 on Thursday, December 17, in Philippi, W.V.

VUU's Kory Cooley scored a season-high 12 points against the Battlers.

Virginia Union's Tavon Mealy led the Panthers on the boards with nine rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 5-6 on the season.  Alderson-Broaddus is now 7-3.

The Panthers now travel to Charlotte, N.C., to face Johnson C. Smith University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19.
