Lady Panthers Face Lady Vikings

Virginia Union University will open their 2010 CIAA Women's Basketball Tournament run against Elizabeth City State University on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Time Warner Arena. Tipoff set for 5:00 p.m.

The Lady Panthers (7-18, 2-18 CIAA) are the No. 11 seed in the
tournament, while the Vikings (17-9, 11-9) are seeded sixth.

VUU spilt its regular-season series with Elizabeth State. First, the Panthers won a come-from-behind 57-52 victory. Then, Elizabeth City State outlasted VUU, recording a 65-62 win.
