Men's Tennis Story Provided by the VUU Office of Sports Information

VUU Men’s Tennis Places Fourth at CIAA Championships

ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia Union University men's tennis team placed fourth at the 2008 CIAA Championships. The Championships were held April 16-19 on the campus of Virginia State University. VUU's Gil Hernandez recorded a team-high third place finish in the #2 singles competition. #3 Wayne Motley, #4 William Crump, #5 James McLean and #6 Daniel Metzger all recorded fourth place finishes at their respective positions. The Panthers posted 35 total points for the event. For additional information, please contact the VUU Office of Sports Information at tbsykes@vuu.edu.
