Panthers Place Second at VSU All-Comers Meet

ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia Union University men's track and field team took a second place finish at the VSU All-Comers Meet, posting 114.5 total team points. 
The VUU throwers, led by reigning CIAA Indoor Shot Put Champion Marquis Davis, accounted for 45 of the Panthers' 114.5 points. Davis won the shot put event with a throw of 45'2''. He also recorded third place finishes in the discus and javelin competitions. 
Geoffrey Langat won the men's 1500 meter run, finishing in a time of 4:16.85. In addition, he placed second in the men's 5,000 meter run with a time of 16:07.48.
